This event is not about a finisher’s medal, an event T–shirt or the buzz of the crowd cheering you on. It’s not even about sore feet, aching limbs or the frustration of getting lost. It’s a personal challenge, both in terms of the event itself and the fund raising that goes with it.
By entering the Satmap 10 Peaks you pledge to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. The person who raises the most money for Macmillan will be awarded the annual Satmap 10 Peaks Trophy.

The National Trust
The National Trust is a charity and is completely independent of Government. It relies on income from membership fees, donations and legacies, and revenue raised from commercial operations.
It cares for 51,000 ha in the Lake District, which is 25% of the National Park, and includes Scafell Pike. In any one day the National Trust Rangers might be repairing a traditional barn, laying a hedge, creating a new habitat for dragonflies, or be half way up a mountain restoring footpaths and helping to conserve much of the land we will use during the Satmap 10 Peaks.
5% of each entry fee will go to the National Trust to ensure the ongoing care of the Lake District landscape.
