10 Peaks The Lakes

The hike starts at the foot of Helvellyn near the shore of Thirlmere and finishes in the market town of Keswick. The Lake District National Park, also known as The Lakes, is one of the few mountainous regions in England and features large U-shaped valleys, many of which are now filled with Lakes giving the area it’s name. The route will take you over dramatic rocky crags, across open moorland and through low lying bogs following a clockwise loop incorporating all ten of the Lake District’s highest peaks in the following order:

Lower Man 925m (3,035 ft)
Helvellyn, 951 m (3,118 ft)
Nethermost Pike, 891 m (2,923 ft)

Great End, 910 m (2,986 ft)
