In 2021 we set up our new event - the Kong Lakes Ultra.

We took over the 10 Peaks event in 2019 and we organised 2 hugely successful and enjoyable events in the Brecon Beacons and in the Lake District. After the covid pandemic of 2020 and the subsequent cancellation of our 10 Peaks events, it has allowed us time to reflect on our event and discuss the event in great detail with many of the course participants and event team. We have decided to alter the course to a more pleasing route which starts and finishes in Keswick - we felt this was better for the participant and their supporters/spectators. The route is of a very similar distance and elevation gain to the original 10 Peaks events and covers very similar terrain but traverses slightly different peaks. It also eliminates the need to catch a bus to the start. We have renamed this event the KONG LAKES ULTRA and we hope that you will love it as much as we do.
