100 years of Macmillan Cancer Support

The chosen charity for the 2011 10 Peaks Challenge is Macmillan Cancer Support. Macmillan do a fantastic job supporting people with cancer and their families, providing practical, medical and emotional support.

2011 is their centenary year and to mark this occassion all participants in the 10 Peaks Challenge pledge to raise over £100 to ensure that Macmillan’s great work continues.

There will be a prize for the person who raises the most money, kindly donated by our sponsors, and the winner will have their name etched into the 10 Peaks Trophy.

Macmillan rely on voluntary donations for 99% of their income, so they need your help. If you would like to donate to Macmillan please visit the 10 Peaks Justgiving page.

We are delighted that Paul is once again undertaking this incredible challenge to support Macmillan. This year we celebrate 100 years of supporting people affected by cancer and are asking people to do whatever they can to help us ensure that we can reach everyone who needs our support. The £100 fundraising target is a great way of entrants not only undertaking the physical challenge of the course but also contributing to the future development of services where people need them most. We would like to wish Paul and all those taking part in the 10 Peaks Challenge a safe and successful event.
